There are many factors that differentiates a great wine from other wines. Most, even though they may think to the contrary are the same. It is all about trial and error and trusting various wine reviews. We've all been there with that most anticipated first sip of that bottle of wine you've been thinking about all day, and there it is a sharp vinegary vulgar taste. This is where this site comes into the picture. We will not talk about hollyhocks and it painting a picasso on your palette. What we do intend to do is find great …

The Malbec Reserva from the Vinalba estate has previously won a Decanter award for its quality. Sourced from vineyards at the foot of the Andes, grown at different altitudes to achieve the perfect balance between tannin and acidity. This wine is ripe dark plum fruits, sweet tannins and dark chocolate and mocha. The flavours linger for a long time.
Food Paring
A full-bodied wine, yet with juicy tannins, this wine is best enjoyed with food. Peppered steak or lamb are ideal companions.

Domaine Dupré 2007 is a complex white from the Mâconnais region in Burgundy. To smell there are notes of peach and on the pallet it is fruity in nature and gets its character from the French oak barrels of its origins. On top of the fruitiness there is a lovely buttery creamy texture with a trace of nut that is fantastically balanced with a citrus edge. This is wine of many characteristics but in my opinion they appear to have got them just right.
Food Pairing
This wine is great with fish dishes, white meats and Italian dishes such as risotto or pasta.
